Yes. As long as you are willing to make some sacrifices.

What would these sacrifices be? Any major sacrifices?

Older model, higher mileage, probably not with an extended warranty, trim options (sport, touring). Just all depends, if you do a private sale you could probably talk someone down around that range but will take some work. Good luck!

you could put 23K and get whatever you wanted for a used one? you could find a low mileage one and only have to finance about 5-8k. I'm assuming of course you have a steady source of income and you have checked how much it cost to insure a youngster driving a 370z?

I noticed.u said its ur first car. None of my business but just a little advice (assuming u could get it within budget) to go test drive and make sure ur comfortable cuz this thing is one b!tch with blind spots, hard to get used at first when switch from a sedan or something

if you are paying for the insurance you should check on that before you decide. Your insurance could be as much as your car payment if this is your 1st car.

I bought my 2011 base with sport package, 4000 miles for 26,000 out the door. I know thats a little over what you wanted to spend but that should tell you that there are deals out there. I would say one with 15-20,000 miles could easily be bought for that price. Good luck on your search

heehee When I bought my first brand new car (1979 Camaro Berlinetta), the notes and the insurance were within a few dollars of each other (~$200/month for each).

My how things have changed. I now pay ~$200/month to insure the Z, a pickup truck, and my house.

I'm getting owned by insurance and both my Wife and I have clean records. $321 for the Z and Maxima. Stupid Vegas drivers crashing into everyone and everything.

I don't recommend the Z as a first car. Too fast, killer blind spots, and the tire replacements will kill your wallet.

Just in curiosity how much do you think insurance will cost for a 16 year old male with a 370z?

Get an FRS/BRZ, those only require Prius tires and will cost less to insure. Grow out of that and it will at least prep you for RWD and crap blind spots. you also can graduate from shuttling high school friends in a punishing back seat

So true, I'm paying my sons insurance for his WRX. He did Lincoln tech and saved me on the college tuition so I'll carry him for a while.
