Default Opinions on this deal? Ready to pull trigger

Hey guys, i've been in the market for a 370z for several months and may have found the right one. It's a platinum graphite 2009 touring with sport 6m. 29,070 1 owner miles in what appears to be superb condition. The dealer is willing to let it go for 26,000. It is a couple hundred miles away, so I'll have to make trip to purchase.
From looking at edmunds tmv, nada, etc, this is a great deal. What do you guys think?

The 3/36 warranty expires this month...... does the 5/60 powertrain continue with the second owner?

They probably won't go much lower on it. Just keep looking. I was looking and stopped into the local dealer for the first time just to check em out. They had 2 base asking for like 35k+ new or some crap like that. I laughed and walked out. Just depends on the dealer I guess. Location, etc.

If your happy paying that for it who cares? Im to the point that if I find a car I like in the price range I like, I buy it. It isnt worth it to me anymore to fight with dealers over 1000.00 bucks, with rates as low as they are you wont even notice that on a Monthly payment. If you are paying cash its just another thousand.

My last 3 cars I have not even stepped foot in the dealer except to pick up the car. I let my bank manager do all the paper work, and I see her to sign on the line. I hate dealerships.

If you get 0% financing don't pay off cash because its basically free and with inflation over a 5 year loan you actually get the car cheaper.

if you have sub par credit, can you negotiate a better interest rate say if i put 15,000 down? or does that not really help?

This is the base model in Dallas that they are selling at this little dealership in North Dallas the car is very nice and the guy selling is great but the car is an 09 and he will drop the price. I spoke with them before deciding I wanted a 40th. The car also has a pretty decent radio already in it with Navi.

The price is good, and more money down can help get a better interest rate.
