Question Close to pulling the trigger! Opinion needed!

So I'm pretty close on pulling the trigger on this 40 anniversary Z. The Z is imaculate and it only has 5k on the odometer, barley broken into. The car was a trade in so it's not CPO. Im also a first time buyer with "baby" credit. I'm putting close to half down. 30k OTD, 16k financed at 4%. Is this a good deal. Other 40th in the area are going for almost 34k with almost 3 times as much miles on the odometer? Should I go ahead and make my dreams come true! Haha

And advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Car also checks out through Carfax and another car history report company. Passed also a full inspection through the dealership with paper work to prove it.

Thanks again.

Sounds good, I mean if you can push for another 500 or 1000 you can try but if they really bite back then I would agree with you saying that is low and to take it if you can! And, making payments on a car is a great way to build your credit,my dad had to cosign the first car I bought at 17 to help build mine.

Is the dealer selling it as Certified with warranty? Sounds like a good deal!

That seems like a good deal to me. I was looking at a 40th before getting a '12 at the dealer. Best I could do was $32K (before tax, fees, etc) but I didn't try haggling with them and it had I think some where around 6K on the odo. It was through a wholesaler and I felt they wouldnt be able to give me what I wanted on my truck for trade in. So $30K out the door with low miles I say go for it

I was really thinking of buying new, but I really want a 40th. The 0% interest sounds really good but this being my first financed car and with my credit? you think I would get approved for it? Plus the price is 30k OTD for a 40th? brand new base sport goes for 34k before taxes?

I know 4% is not the best, but do you guys think I will get any better? I was thinking building credit for about two years and then refinance? or is that a bad idea?

youll never pull 0% with new credit, that will be for people with a high credit score. Just get that lightly used 40th and start building up that credit, remember NEVER make a payment late!!

Here's one for you guys, for a 40th Z for 26.7! But here's the kicker it has 40k on the odo! This is the one thing that's really killing me about this car. So far it checks out on the history report, and car is very clean. The dealer has had the vehicle since January and it seems like they can get pushed over with the price. If I can significantly get the price down, should I go for it. Or should I once again play the patience game and hope fr another 40th to come around? It's seems like everytime a 40th comes, someone has to beat me to it.

Thanks again in advance

if it's 40k miles with one owner and a clean carfax that seems like a good deal, does it have extended warranty attached?
