2011 370z 7AT w/sportpackage

I was quoted $33,891 for 2011 370z 7AT w/sportpackage, and $37,115 for it with Touring without Nav, it doesn't include Dealer Installed Accessories, Tax, License, or Doc Fees. Any advice?

Both quotes seem high. Also, do not let them force dealer installed options on you. Tell them no and save yourself a couple hundred bucks!

Seems like a shitty deal to me.

And yeah, there are multiple Nissan dealers on the site here to work with. You could get a much better deal through them, Im sure. Either that, or simply say, "I want to see the invoice". If they give you some BS like how you need to commit to buying the car before seeing it, walk out. Your ultimate tool is simply walking out. Paying more than invoice is silly, IMHO.

Hmm alright, then what would a good/decent price range be for them both?

Look in this very forum. We have invoice pricing for all packages/options...pull out a calculator and do the math

Doc Fees alone are the biggest ripoff in the Auto Sales business. Get a real quote from them. An "out-the-door" quote. And if your deal isn't the same number as the quote when they draw up the paperwork, walk.

I posted this in another thread, and this is just a best guess since I haven't seen the 2011 invoice prices.

For Base 7AT:
Sport - $32,850, $32,350, $31,850 (Fair, Good, Great)

Uhhh....why are you spitting out used car pricing to this guy?

Dont know what other options are in your package, but here you go for 2010 (probably VERY close to 2011):

Base Model 7 speed automatic
MSRP $31,460
Invoice $29,474

Touring Model 7 speed automatic
MSRP $36,130
Invoice $33,464

R01 - Sports package*
MSRP $3,000
Invoice $2,602

Those of course, dont include little options such as illuminated sills and ****.

2011 is more than 2010. Get on zag.com and check the invoice price

That seems good to me. My Z is a 2009 with 6700 miles on it. It is a coupe with sports package, 7 auto, spoiler, etc. Here is the blue book information on my particular Z.

2009 Nissan 370Z - Suggested Retail Value - Kelley Blue Book

Certified: $37,725

Retail: $37,375

Private Party: Excellent $34,875

Good $33,375

Fair $30,875

Trade in: Excellent $32,250

Good $30,750

fair $28,150

Sticker on mine was $43,000 new. Mine has the illuminated kickplates, painted splash gaurds,...all the bells and whistles. I have the sticker still if youd like a photo of it so see what all mine has to help you judge this deal you were quoted.

P.S. No way in H*ll i'd pay sticker!

Hope all this helps you out!!!! ; )

I have no idea why anyone is posting KBB values on their used cars, or how it could possibly help this guy purchase a brand new 370.

And duh, obviously the 2011 is more than the 2010 - its gone up like, every year slightly. My prices were for approximation only.

I posted them to show him that the price quoted was in fact a good deal. His brand new Z was quoted to him for the same retail price as my used Z.

Except your logic is incorrect, and you are wrong. The price of your 2-year old 370Z has almost nothing to do with his brand new 2011 Z.

KBB pricing has nothing to do with invoice in the first place. Furthermore, how can you even compare a KBB used value price on a car that is brand new? What if your car had 50000 more miles on it and the value was that much less? Besides the fact that no dealerships uses KBB when buying used/new cars anyway - they use NADA.

If you add up my INVOICE prices, a 2010 Touring 7AT + Sport, without any other options yet, would be around $35700. Tacking on a couple piddly things like splash guards and illuminated kick plates, and he's around $36000. Now, this is all approximation of course, since the 2011's are slightly more. But, not over $1000 more I believe. So I'll stand by my original statement: its not that great of a deal, and he can get more money off of their offer.

Where your wrong is that i'm not giving him used car prices. I never even look at used car prices and I'm not sure how you figured that based on my original post.

I took the exact same 2010 invoice prices as you $29,474 + $2,602 = $32,076. Now, the base MSRP has risen about $1,200 for 2011, so less just say the invoice went up $800. That gives you:

$32,850 = invoice (fair deal)
$32,350 = 500 below invoice (good deal)
$31,850 = 1000 below invoice (great deal)

I was just trying to do the guy a favor by adding everything up for him.
