Default 40th Anniversary 370z. deal or no deal?

So I was in the area and decided to stop in at the dealer after going to Costco and thats when I saw the 40th anniversary 370z. The paint looked really nice but I'm not a huge fan of the red interior.

I have been looking for a 370z 6MT with Touring+Sports package so it fits my criteria pretty well and the dealer hinted I could leave with it under invoice at around ~36K. Is this a standard deal or a good one? I live in southern california if that helps.

I would honestly prefer a non-40th anniversary and save the 1200$ but reading around the forums it would be hard to find a 6MT+Touring+Sport, is this true?

35,900 here + destination/taxes, the red interior grows on you, I love it now

its a good deal, that combonation is very hard to find...youll pay extra $$ for dealer trade to get one. just get the 40th, its slick. you will enjoy it. make the salesman happy, give him a car deal.

They just came out 2-3 months ago, also its a high premium to pay for a Z that not a lot of people are willing to make as dealers are finding out. Everyone should be able to snatch these up for under or at invoice.

I think its a good deal. But if you're not feeling the red interior (which in my opinion is awesome) you may regret it later.

just a follow up, i went to my local dealer and spent about 2 or so hours there talking prices and test driving it. At first I was offered 38K... and I instantly just got frustrated at him and told him I know this is not the best they can do. Eventually I got them down to invoice 36.8K but at this point I was already tired and did not want to make the purchase today. As I was walking out the door they offered me free leather seat covers (since I did not really feel the red leather seats). The seats are probably about 500$ +/- a few so the deal was about 36.3K but I told him I would be in touch.

I am checking out other dealers first before I put down the card but just wondering what is the BEST price I can go for? I am imagining around 35.5K would be the limit but I am not really too sure.

Hey i just recently came back from the dealer too and brought it down to 35,530 so I'm sure they can either match that or do better...too bad I didnt buy the car that day...same reason as you (exhausted)
