To give people an idea, I just picked up a 2011 370Z Coupe Gun Metal AT7 with mats and no extra features at all for $31,882 OTD with 5% APR (trying to build credit). The bottom line on the financing for someone with good credit is about 3.5% APR from what I was told.

Not bad being an auto. Don't beat youself up over 5%. I believe for every 1% your payments are only an extra 15 bucks a month at the most.

Where did you get the financing from? is this Nissan Finance? I went to a dealer yesterday and supposedly the lowest they are offering on 370Z's is 6% while in some other models you can get 0% :gtfo2:

Yes, it was through Nissan Finance from what I understand. We went to a credit union before coming in and basically told them if you can't beat the 4% from this credit union, we won't finance with you, and they made it happen [sort of]. This 4% was for my dad who has ~800 credit score. I am a new college grad with almost no credit history, so we both cosigned the loan so I could build credit with a better interest rate. I would have gotten 6% alone, and he could have gotten 3.5% alone, so they met us somewhere in the middle.

I highly suggest going to a credit union and getting a rate on paper; even if it is just to bargain with the dealerships. This is easy profit for the dealerships so they will bend over backwards to get you to finance with them.

What kind of deals are people getting on new 2011 models? Is it common to get below invoice? If so, about how much below are people getting?

It mostly depends on area/region, invoice seems to be the standard number everyone can get if they try. Put in a little effort and you can probably get a bit below invoice.

I'm curious to see what the invoice is for Canadians, years 2012 and up, anyone have any information?

With the new 2013 model announced. I'm assuming getting a grand or 2 under invoice for years 2012 or older should be no problem.

Anyone has the invoice pricing for 2019?

The car is actually "used" with only 500 miles. But I'd still like to know the original invoice for bartering. Thanks
