Autotrader is the #1 source for used cars and private sellers, you can certianly try craigslist as well.

I was just contacred by Colonial Nissan , right down the street from Fred Beans (Jason Freidman ids the GM) about a tent sale.

370Z's in stock (about 5) going for at or below invoice. Only problem they don't offer the Z config that I want

Don't settle for something you wont be happy with. Do they have an upgraded version say the basic touring with your SP. Let them know you dont need all the fancy stuff like leather and navigation, and that your wanting to buy today. They might just work a great deal on that one.

The typical used car is marked up about 5 to 6k. Im not sure if that applies to the 370z since it is a wanted car. That to me means it could be more. Your right about the incentives and rebates for used cars not being available. But I find it alot more beneficial dealing with a used car price. I used to sell used cars in MD. The best time to buy a used car is at the end of the month around the months of oct-Dec. Most dealerships are trying to reach a quota or units sold to get their bonuses. So they will more likely be flexible on the price. They also hold anywhere from a half percent to one percent of the apr you qualified for Example: They showed you 6.5% you really got 5.5 to 6%. So tell them you know that. I always low ball them because its a starting point. You never want to go in at half-way unless you want to end up paying 3/4 of what they want. Lastly dont hesistate to leave. they need to sell you that car more than you need to buy it. Hope this helps.
