Default Buying New 370 Z Need Help

I have visited my local Nissan dealership in Washington. I am planning to purchase a new 370 Z. I need some help before I decide to go back on Saturday. Here is the deal I am trying to throw down with the dealership.

Cash: $11,000
2002 WRX: Trade in value $7,000. I still owe $10,000.
Selling Price 370 Z Base with no upgrades: $30,740 including Tax and Licensing
Terms: 5.49 APR at 72 months
Monthly Payments: $425

Do you think I can get a better deal with the dealership or is this a good deal? This is my first buy a new car. I have read the forums on how much people got there Z for and read articles on how to bargain. If I could get some tips and feedback on how to get a good deal.

Easy .... Email 3/4 different dealerships (whether close or not) And find one that is willing to offer Invoice and/or VPP pricing. If you can, print it, take it to the dealer where the car sits, and have them match it. If you don't get invoice, I'd walk away for now! Plenty of deals out there. May just need to wait a couple more weeks. Patience is key!

^... that is the perfect idea go to a place like edmonds and built the car you want and they have where you can put in your zip and get quotes. Then just sit back let them fight for your business its a buyers market so take advantage and let them do the work and sweat it out. When you hear something you like then pull the trigger.

On a seperate note you might want spend the couple of bucks and look at your credit to see where is at so you can get a good idea of your intrest rate.

Unless your credit is nails, there aren't many banks going past 60 months right now. You may have to look a credit union.
