That makes a whole lot of sense why you intentionally overpaid 6K for the car. Backward thinking if you ask me. I bet your e-penor is a foot long too!

lol, no. I'm serious though. I have a lot of investments, but I have discovered lately that I am also very lazy. I don't like that side of myself one bit, but sadly it takes losing money to motivate me to do anything.

Nevertheless, like I said, I've been to that Nissan dealership many times before and the only car that was marked up more than this one was a 2009 GT-R (about $20K above MSRP). Everything else, including a 350Z has come in very close to MSRP before negotiation.

Sorry but, I find your reasoning quite peculiar.

The other thing is that, if losing money motivates you, why not just donate that money you just overpaid for your car to a worthy charity?

Whatever floats your boat, congrats on the new Z

You have obviously never lived on easy street off of dividends on a few million dollars worth of investments. The sad truth is, that sort of thing makes you very lazy. Unless motivated to earn some extra income by a small loss, I find myself sitting on my *** all day.

What kind of investor actively tries to lose money for motivation? In all my years of buying and selling real estate and stocks I have never heard anything so ridiculous... That salesman that sold you your car is probably a hero to all his sales buddies every time he tells the story of the time he sold a Nismo for $6k over MSRP to some schmuck in half an hour.

That's probably because you don't make $80K a year off of dividends alone. The only thing that motivates me to do any actual work is spending a reasonably large amount of money to make me nervous. Otherwise I can live comfortably indefinitely off the income from dividends until the day I die never lifting a finger. The only illogical thing here is that you cannot see how losing money would encourage someone to go and take action.

Frankly, I am getting real tired of justifying myself to all of you clowns who think you know more about my financial well being than I do. So it takes something unpleasant to motivate the lazy person I have become after inheriting a small fortune, why do you care? At least I know what it takes, and actually take action instead of sitting on my *** all day contributing nothing to society. None of this pertains to the original topic, and you are all making colossal fools of yourselves.

You sound like a douche that should trade the Z for a BMW. Maybe you can give your salesman a $20,000 tip for helping you find the right douchemobile

I can help you out, send some money to my paypal, it might get you motivated. As you can see i'm poor, i drive a Camry, and i just got laid off. Seriously i'm not picky, i will settle for a 2009 370z.
