i just think that the Z really isn't the best competitor out there, don't get me wrong, i love my car, but come on, that was just silly, talk about a spanking.

yes i get they're AWD and they exit corners faster and what not, but RWD cars should be "nimble, good turn-in, etc etc" idk about you guys, but looks like the Z just gets sh!t on.

kind of a side note, but why is the Z not big in road racing as well? i feel like it's all about evo's/sti's s2000's and rx-7's. is there a reason the z is never really used in such events?

is it really just not that good of a competing car? :/
I've heard our cars don't/can't really do anything "properly" on the track. This is from a shop owner that I will not mention, but could this possibly be true? I'm starting to think so....

Umm, while it was some steep competition, the Z should have done a little better. That was a real spanking.

i agree with you on that. yeah they're awd turbo, yeah they were 'factory' tuned as mentioned before but if you think about it...helloooo the NISMO is a factory tuned 370z lol, can't use that excuse.

idk, it was just kind of disappointing, even if some of it was driver error. it still couldn't have been that much, i mean they're all professional drivers, not like they've never driven a rwd before.

idk, just seems like the z just isn't that great on the track

All i think is that the Z is just a fat lady on the road w/ a lots of ponies under the hood. I dont know about you guys but Z does suck at track competition , But where other cars fail Z shale succeed and it is perfect for drifting and that's why i brought mine. Check your cars history fellas then buy.

Actually, if you want to bring up the cars history, that would embarrass this car even more. take for instance, the original datsun 240z. that was top dog, it was blowing everything out of the water at its time, especially for the price!

then fast forward a couple years and take the 300zx for example. Steve millen dominated in that beast.

^^those are only 2 examples of many.

so to be honest, i do know the cars history, and now after that, it just seemed to show even more it's kind of a let down (in comparison of course)
