I have the Feb. 09 MT issue that covers their orignal 370z test review and I noticed it's not exactly the same result. While both tests show the Z with a 0-60 in 4.7 secs & 1/4 mile of 13.3 secs, the original test had the speed at 105.7 mph, while this drag race had a speed of 107.1 mph. The 2/09 MT issue also tested the Mustang GT. The original results were 5.2 secs and 13.7 secs, for 0-60 & 1/4 respectively. But in this drag race the Mustang improved to 5.0 s and 13.5 s. |

I don't see anything wrong with that 4.7. If you get a good launch it's all yours, IMO.
I really wish we had more guys here that ran the 1/4 so I could take a look at their 60 foot times. The launch is what it's all about when it comes to getting the lowest ET. With these big, sticky tires on the Z I would think we would be seeing sub 2.0 second 60' times with a good driver. I know with my stock '03 Mustang GT I managed a 1.93s 60' on stock 245 goodyears, which was pretty much unheard of... some shitty drivers with drag radials can't even pull that kind of number. In any case, I'm hoping after some time with the car I can head out to the track and put down some solid numbers. I really want to see just what this car can do in stock form down the 1/4. It feels a lot quicker than my GT, which, at the time I sold it was running low 13s... it "feels" to me like a 13-flat car if all conditions are right.

That narrator sounds like he has a fly in his nose and can't concentrate on reading lmaoooooooo
But congrats to the Z taking out the new GT was a great win and the overhyped Genesis add those to the check list, Z is the best |

I took my 7 AT. Sport to the track and ran a 13.201 @ 103. ( I hit the limiter in 4th) Myother passes were at 106 to 107. I have a stillen intake and 4.08 gears.
My 0 to 60 based on my 8th mile times are 4.4 seconds, with a 2.09 60ft time. The problem is the tires no traction and being full of nitrogen you can not lower the air preasure to 26 psig. My average pass was a 13.34. When the car is cold it ran the 13.201 pass. My stillen exhaust and berk cats should put it into the 12.9 s. Will keep you posted. Definitely probably need some better tires to get your 60ft time down, hope your next upgrades get you below 13s.

I wish MT would post their launch RPM's so I could get similar results. I just finished my break-in and I'm ready 2 do my 1st oil change at 1.5k miles, and I'm having some fun launching of the line.
