The engagement window is very small on the 370 so unless they are good at perfectly controlling their left leg the clutch engagement will be very jerky compared to most other manual transmissions. I was surprised at first as well coming from a bmw with a manual but after a little leg calibration all shifts are smooth as butter, that and the RJM pedal system.
