That is a stunning car. I'm a bit jealous.

I hate this thread so much. I hate how nice we are. I hate how good of a community we have here. I hate that I am still waiting for a few more funds to clear before I buy my Z. I hate that as of lately I've been debating the STI. I hate that this car in red just rekindled those feelings.

On a real note, congrats on the new car man. She's a beauty and you're bound to have lots of fun. I can't wait for my new car smell soon enough. A red Z is my aim.

On another side note, I've never owned a red car. Is it myth or fact that insurance is more on that color?

Nice car nice color. Would have gone same combo also. The rumble of the boxer flat 4 is luscious.

I hear the STi is the most ticketed car in America!
I agree my man! As soon as I heard the exhaust note of the boxer engine and heard the BOV as I changed gears, I was hooked. And yes, it is most definitely the most ticketed car in America and I got it in red. Go big or go home haha.

I can't wait to mod it! The fact I'm looking at +100whp/tq just with turbo back, CAI, and Cobb access port/custom tune is almost unbelievable. With my G and Z, I've always been 60-70tq away from my actual hp number.

I appreciate it man! No reason to be jealous. You guys are still family and I just wanted to share my experience with you all. If you can afford a Z, I'm sure you could get one if you really wanted! But both a great.

This post is probably my favorite. I've been on this tread for a year and I didn't have a clue as to how you guys would respond to my decision. But I loved my Z and my community. I just wanted to let everyone know why I traded. I can't get over how nice everyone has been.
I've said this many times in the last few days, but seeing this color on the car changed my mind. I was on the fence about it visually until I saw the red STi in person. Thank you so much man. My advice is to drive both cars and see what fits your life better. The one that truly makes you smile and gives you that "little kid Christmas morning joy" is the one you purchase.
I'm here to confirm that the red color being higher is a myth. I was floored when I falled my insurance company last week and found out. Then again, it might vary from company to company. Good luck and post here when you make your decision!

I love cockpit, looks really well designed. Everything I see an STi running around town I think "hmmm, wonder if that could be my next ride?"

Alright, I need to stop checking in this thread. The pictures are giving me back the thought I once had of trading in my Z for the STI.

Must leave now...while it's still safe lol

That's the move a lot of people seem to make 370z to sti or vise versa. The red has always looked the best on these, I still can't figure out why they stopped making them in red in the last generation blows my mind, get rid of the best looking color.
