sorry to hear and see, op. that does suck. i think the best bet would be to try polishing it out as you mentioned.. or if you have low deductible,

 that does suck. i think the best bet would be to try polishing it out as you mentioned.. or if you have low deductible, just take it into a bodyshop for repair.i too believe people dont give a f- about other people's belongings.. thus i have a dd. ive had too many cars getting dinged, keyed, crashed into while parked.
