If the car was traded in and didn't sell then it would go to auction especially a unique buyer market car like a nismo.
I was going to trade my 2013 in with 4509 miles to the dealer I bought it from as they were going to give me 1000 less then I had it listed for and they said if it didn't sell in 2 or 3 months it would go to auction and they may lose money. This was of course because I earned a good relationship with the sales manager and I told him I would buy a 2016 Z when they come out
