Don't rip on stangs, you'll start to sound like the 3owners ripping on Zs. Speaking of, I dusted a 535 today.

And? I'm not a fan of Mustangs especially the v6 wannabes

It is not the car itself that bugs me all that much. It is the drivers of said vehicles who think they are something they are not and the 50+ year old technology that goes into them.

Oh -- I hope your "dusting" of the 535 took place on a closed track and not a public road. It is not only imbecilic but also a violation of forum rules to engage in, or discuss, street racing of any kind.

I reported this post for you to the mods.

You are welcome. I am here to help out those less equipped.

ouch... and you're not even in my iggylist. :ugh:

hope you get that fixed soon. did you kick the rail over the cliff? :D

aszyd 07-05-2014 04:09 PM

Doing about 60 on the highway, in the rain. The rear end lost traction. The car spun and tagged the rail in the center divider. Luckily, I didn't hit anyone else and I was able to do an impromptu fender roll, with the tools in the hatch, to get it off of the tire.

Bridgestone S-04s 305s. Something is wrong with my setup because I have burnt through the rears super quick and have zero wet traction. I had an alignment done and the only thing off right now is toe. Could it be sway bar related? I didn't tighten the bars at ride height, as recommended. If that's what it is, well, it looks like it's going to be a costly mistake.

yah, S04's are frikken awesome in the rain with its uni-t design. hope you get the alignment fixed.

yep, stiff swaybars especially on the rear will affect how your tail behaves.
on my car i only stiffened up the front just a little bit. feels perfect for street.

^Then for consistency I hope you also reported the guy who mentioned the "walking" of said mustang above, right? It seems your "helping" is the blind leading the blind since, last I checked, "walking" and "dusting" are very ambiguous terms which themselves have nothing to the rules you cited above, but you knew that already bright eyes, didn't you? Enjoy your weekend genius.

Is this intended to be an insult? I ask because it made me laugh out loud. Thank you for the humor.

I would love to engage in a battle of wits and euphemism/colloquialism/jargon/slang definitions with you, but my father taught me to never battle an unarmed opponent. It is just not sporting.

Looking good! Any plans on lowering?

Also do you have any issues with 'hood bulge' with those struts? Seems like that's common with the z1 kit and why I did not get them. Damn do I hate the prop rod though.

For your edification and elucidation, the well from which I draw my "smartazz" comments (as you so eloquently put it) never runs dry and is quite deep.

Oh, and that's Mr. onzedge™.

Ummm...

OK. I put my satin cover over my 370 this morning after I gave her a once-over with my California Duster. Then I left for the airport.

Better?
