A lot of people have been giving me heat because I'm doing purely cosmetic changes to my Z rather than performance upgrade but, don't care, it's my Z.

I had GY Custom Lighting paint my headlight housing and install my IJDM TOY RGB Multi-Colored Halos and 4th Brake Light.

Just recently received my CF Duckbill from Aerojacket and the diffuser I'm getting it installed today (I hope it comes out nice!).

Next up are Ace Allow Wheels (joining a group buy from Oscar of Zociety) and then side fenders with the piece of CF on the side.

I'm going to completely modify my Z but in it's due time, nothing too fast otherwise I won't have it long enough to enjoy it. It's also an automatic but, I do plan on buying a 350z Manual for fun!

I need to find a better gif creator. G+ cropped the photos too close so you miss the back end action at the beginning.

I liked it :icon17: But I agree. If you know of something, I can maybe try it out.

I gave my pop's a ride this-afternoon in my ~Z~
Picked him up from the hospital & took him home...he had been visiting my mom.
His 1st time riding in ~Z~
so after we got on interstate, temp. outside was 101* & i had just filled up that morning,,,i knew i was running pretty heavy....so i showed him how it shift's on it's own from "60"-***......then closer to his house, got stopped at a red light & went 0-3rd gear! he was a grinning! enjoyed the ride @ 3850lbs. +

I installed a new O2 sensor for my SCG-1 this morning. A lift would make life so much easier.

Amen to that, with my worn out knee's, a lift would be a awesome. Got somewhere to put it also. Maybe in due time. Rolling around on the ground is for crap.

Took a drive by video of the Z. Had my buddy drive it while I took the video. Sounded pretty good! Mods listed below. :driving:

This car created a problem in my pants.
Gave my car a nice wash and wax. Black looks so amazing clean.

Attachment 106159 only lift I have access to .... A bit overkill: still have to use jack on one end or other- I need to fabricate some arm lowering adapters.

Driving home from my youngest's soccer practice last night came up behind a slam/stanced Miata.
Why?
Why?
I don't understand why...
Why would anyone take the "raison d'etre" of a car, in this case, superb handling, and not just ruin it, but demolish it.
*sigh*
hella-flush

ZeroZ34 07-30-2015 09:54 AM

My mechanic couldn't figure out how to install my aero diffuser, hopefully Rick finds someone to do it for me on a Sunday!

I'm convinced I've got the worst fuxing luck with tires.

This is about the second time in the last two months, luckily I caught it before it had a chance to blow out on me again. :shakes head:

I just got these tires, too. I'm off to get a patch! :'(

mishuko 07-30-2015 02:54 PM

No no ... it's RE-71R's now. Bridgestone is slowly moving away from the RE-11.

When these ones go out on me I'll have to try those. How are they on the track?

I saw a 350Z slammed/stanced. Young guy. Wants to buy a Nismo and do that. I smiled when he said I can't really afford it. You know ... the car actually looked nice except for the mass negative camber. I liked the wheels. The tires however were all scarred up because he forgot to roll his fenders with a baseball bat.

:rofl2:

I did not see it bounce down the road on cut springs like it was on a f-kin pogo stick.

BoneZ 07-30-2015 07:40 PM

I do not have personal experience. However, those I have spoken with at autocross events this year say they are the hot ticket. Grassroots Motorsports did reviews on them in June and July. Here is a link to their podcast. I am a little concerned that they might overheat when driven hard on a track for a 20 to 30 minute run.

Those do NOT look like spill proof slushy containers...

(Z day 2 or 3 I managed to send my coffee mug flying and disprove it's proclaimed "leakproof"-ness)

Blacked out some more chrome, the rings around the Z, really just the Z and the exhaust tips left.

What did you use to black out the edges of the side markers?
