Im new dont hate me

With my fuse gone, the car is sometimes slow to respond to the start button being pushed. I've read other posts claiming the same thing, so I wouldn't say it doesn't effect anything. Once it's started, everything is fine, though.

I replaced the battery in my key fob and this symptom went away for me.

still happens to me every so often. put the key in the fobgina and that goes away.

I might be used to it and not notice anymore I guess. That's definitely a possibility since its been over a year now since I pulled the fuse.

Both fobs have had the batteries replaced.

Looks like I'll have to pay closer attention now. Very likely I have the same issue just never really bothered me I guess. All things considered, I'd rather my car occasionally take a few extra seconds to start than to leave me straight up stranded somewhere!

So when do we get to hate on the fng?

I pulled mine ages ago and just had it replaced under warranty. I have yet to re-pull the fuse, and the car is as slow as ever to start. It actually seems to not start on the first push more often. Odd.

I wonder if it has more to do with the age/charge of the car battery? Not really sure that makes sense though as I am still on the oem battery and don't seem to have this delay.

It should only cause a minor explosion. Nothing that won't buff out.

I even replaced that (the car battery) within the year. I'd go to the track and not check the battery fluid level. It seems to have boiled away. My fault for not checking earlier.

I do not really care as I love my car warts and all.
