Do those super chips on the Internet really work?

I added a Bully Dog 50 ST Gas Tuner and contrary to others opinions, I do feel an increase in power but most importantly, it resolved the throttle lag issues I have experienced since I got the car. Just my 2 cents.

No, they do not work.

Typically their function is to keep the car in open loop warm-up longer. resulting in higher injector duty cycles after warm-up; this may or may not have been useful for earlier model EFI cars, but for ours, definitely not worth it.

Get an Uprev tune or sprintbooster instead.

I like hot salsa with my super chips. Usually my super chips are made of blue corn tortilla. Baked not fried as well. Lower fat makes me go lots faster!
