I second that. My uncle who has been racing mustangs for 20+ yrs told me don't waste your money on upgrades yet, spend the $3k on a drivers school and it will improve your skills and times more than any mod alone. Since then i did AutoX for a year now and next year i am only dropping money on the crap that I NEED to further improve my times and skills. better Tires, true LSD, helmet, racing gloves, and a oil cooler. Fast cars are for drag racing and FAST DRIVERS are for road racing and AUTOX!

I think what Chuck33079 & Masterbeatty have to say, is some of the best, most sensible information on the subject of true driving. It seems EVERYONE " thinks" they know how to drive really well"........but ??? . (Me included)
Cheers

Some people can drive well, some people can talk well, very few can do both.

I don't auto-x but a guy I work with helps run the local auto-x, the guy he works with there runs a darn near stock 93 vette and smokes everyone, the difference, he paid and went to a driving school, he has since done light suspension mods, but no power mods to date.
