N/A 370z

What is the fastest naturally asperated 370z to this day? just curious.. currently just got a job and saving money for modifications. only 17 so please do not bash on the just getting a job.

Define "fast"
Are we talking 1/4, around a auto-x track, full track, highest whp per dyno, other?

DEpointfive0 12-11-2013 02:15 PM

By the way, I think the "best" mod to make the 370Z fast is to change the gear ratio, problem is that MPGs go down.

NickTurnon 12-11-2013 02:18 PM

Dude, the one thing that will make your car noticably faster is driver education. Go AutoX that bitch for a year and then see what you feel needs upgrading. Do a muffler delete for some sound and then address power as your skill level comes up.

that would be quick

Learn how to drive it before you modify it. Younger drivers should work on driver skills first. I did some autoX in my late teens/early 20's. It taught me quite a bit and made me a much more skilled driver.

Mine.

Take my word for it, it's all the proof you need.

I second that. My uncle who has been racing mustangs for 20+ yrs told me don't waste your money on upgrades yet, spend the $3k on a drivers school and it will improve your skills and times more than any mod alone. Since then i did AutoX for a year now and next year i am only dropping money on the crap that I NEED to further improve my times and skills. better Tires, true LSD, helmet, racing gloves, and a oil cooler. Fast cars are for drag racing and FAST DRIVERS are for road racing and AUTOX!

Driving

I think what Chuck33079 & Masterbeatty have to say, is some of the best, most sensible information on the subject of true driving. It seems EVERYONE " thinks" they know how to drive really well"........but ??? . (Me included)
Cheers

Some people can drive well, some people can talk well, very few can do both.

I don't auto-x but a guy I work with helps run the local auto-x, the guy he works with there runs a darn near stock 93 vette and smokes everyone, the difference, he paid and went to a driving school, he has since done light suspension mods, but no power mods to date.
