That said, I literally just washed my car for the first time since having it detailed, which was about a month ago.

Not quite as shiny as what I remember, but, I've also not done anything except wash it. Not sure what the detailers used (though I know it's not Zaino) - I'll probably hit a small spot of it with Zaino and see if it sticks.

Some of those polishes/waxes aren't layer-able, and will look fugly if you try to (some of it will come up, some of it won't)
I should clarify that I have a ClearBra. So I'm using shop towel on ClearBra, and that hasn't caused any issues.

That makes sense!

Just don't use anything with ammonia in it on a clear bra, unless you want a foggy bra.

so what does anyone use to remove rubber deposits on the paint and clearbra that you get after a track day?

Rubbing compound. Choose one that isn't too abrasive (like 3M). I helped Sharif get all the rubber off of his GTR once after he had a track day, and that's what we used.

LOL - 'cept for the fact that the dryer sheet is full of chemicals

I think its the softening agent that helps "release" the bug guts...

I use Turtle Tar and Bug remover for heavy infestations but on the 370Z there isn't much to remove since she gets washed every week and waxed every three or four weeks so usually I can get it off with a detailing spray and microfiber cloth.

Not after being used and rinsed...It's really the texture that does the work..

Again, I use a brand new sheet as the chemicals work well loosening the bugs and guts. But my car gets it worse than others due to my location and distance.

what are you using to coat your front bumper. I dont think zaino even holds up agaisnt some type of bug guts. The more yellow the guts i notice the more acidic it is.
