Please convince me to buy a Z!

I'm not sure about the car lacking quickness. It may not feel as fast, but take a look at the speedometer. It gets moving in a hurry. It's a linear powerband, and you have to give it some revs. There's no big spike of power, it just pulls and pulls. Test drive it again and keep your foot in it up past 7000 rpm.

Im not sure how happy the dealer will be with that haha.. but yeah that's probably why, it just felt weird compared to the Si, I definitely felt like a sports car compared to the "sporty" Si

**** him if he doesn't like it. It's called a test drive for a reason. If he doesn't want your money there are other Zs out there. You need to get a feel for the car.

My test drive was nothing more than ceremonial and I opened my baby up, dealer was like ok just take it around here and back to the parking lot.....lol bite me this car is mine hang on.

The one I test drove was the owner of the dealers's sons personal demo car and it had 5k miles on it already. I beat that dog. I don't think I was the first person to find the rev limiter on it.

My sales man was cool as hell! I test drove my car like i just robbed a bank!

In and out of traffic on the highway at 80+ and the dude did not even flinch. I knew when i got back to the dealership this dude was getting my money.

@ OP, you will have to start living in the 4000+ RPM world. That is why the fuel is more expensive. However if you learn the intricacies of the OEM clutch, you can definitely get 22+ MPG.

Owning a 370z is a little bit like being married to a stripper. She tells you she loves you, and you believe her. Why? Because you want to, and because your mom likes her for some reason, and because other bitches are jealous, and because your car is faster, and just because. You don't need to understand anymore than that.
