Default 370z or nsx

Hello,

I'm new to the forum, however, Ive been reading this forum for the last 2-3 months ( a lot of helpful info). Anyways, I owned a 95 NSX at the moment, but every time I see a 370z on the road it always make me drool...haha. After reading the forum, I' m leaning toward trading the nsx in for a 13 Z. I have a gti for DD, so I'm not too concerned with mpg or roughness. It's most likely will be my weekend toy like the nsx is now. Really, I just want honest opinion from current Z owners on whether I should go ahead with it. Please let me know what you all think.

Thanks,
Khoala

you should get a 370Z, but you should also keep your NSX if you can. you might regret it later not because you bought the Z, but because the NSX is going to be a classic.

I agreed that I should keep the nsx, however, it's doesn't get driven much. I put a total of 3k miles this year. It's tough to drive it often because I always feel uneasy about parking it. Plus we have a two car garage and the wife car already claimed one spot, and I really don't want to leave either one outside. so yeah can only have one at the moment.

i c... hummm.... can you tell your wife to go take a hike?

just kidding.

btw, i put 3k+ on my Z this year, and less than 2K on my G. just because i dont put mileage on them doesnt mean i dont enjoy the cars, nor do i feel the need to sell them.

i get confused when people say they're selling their cars cause they dont drive them much. just because i dont use one of the bathrooms in the house much doesnt mean im going to yank the toilet out of the floor and sell it. ok that made no sense.

Same here Kenchan! Garage queen cars are not supposed to be driven a lot, detailed properly, yes, and driven for pure satisfaction.

NSX, because it's a "reliable Ferrari"--an Accord when you want it to be, and a supercar when you get on it. The NSX was an ambitious project by Honda to try to emulate the Ferrari 348. (I read this in some magazine) And ironically, it's more of a collector car than the 348 (from its resale value percentage wise). NSX for the win. Keep it stock. It doesn't matter that it's a 13 sec car at the fastest; that was fast for the late 80s/early 90s.

I did test drive the Z a couple days ago. The positives: good power delivery, sharper handling(to me), more low end grunt. The negatives: blind spots, feels big, high ride height. In the end I love the overall package of the Z. But yes, you guys are right I may regret letting the nsx go because it's an icon. I guess that's why its such a hard decision. ahhh lol

And here I thought you Z owners were going to persuade me to go with the Z. Thanks for being honest.

yah, the Z follows the current trend of roundish cars so completely different from your NSX. like between a cayman and 370Z, i thought i was going to fall on my arse when i got in the cayman sport.

i would keep your nsx and maybe down the road when you have more garage space get a Z.
