Actually you'd be surprised how easy it is to install a whole engine. There's not as much fighting things in tiny spaces to get around parts you don't want to remove, because you've pretty much disconnected/removed everything

With the right tools (a lift and the right jacks and a hoist) it's a 1-day job even for amateurs on most cars.
