I think everyone is reading too much into this. In my hometown, some neighborhoods back up right next to the high school. Bound to run into high schoolers leaving to head home. It's happened to be before.

An exhaust. FI seems to be the winner here but its expensive so I went with short tails. Its all personal preference. But that stock exhaust...

There should be a rule about throwing around car price tags... especially for a 370z. For the past five years it's been referenced as the performance _bargain_. As for throwing it around a bunch of people who have the same car...... ?? wat? When most people here bought their cars, the NISMO was a ~10k markup from base—about the same as touring + sport package w/ auto (remember, it was more expensive before the 2014 model). Perhaps the reason you think the NISMO is so expensive is because at 25 years of age you get gouged on interest.... assuming you're making the payments.

I think one of the great things about this community is that most Z owners can afford something more expensive and choose the Z because they like it so much. Let's not put each other down, especially over the size of our wallets. Bad form.

Sometimes I cruise by the old folks homes and rev the beast with open exhaust so nitro flames shoot everywhere just to scare the crap out of the old ladies, literally. Makes me feel manly and successful in my expensive car...
