How much is your paycheck? I look forward to claiming it if you really want to put your theory to the test that your Z will turn more heads 10/10. I like how you pull another car to compare to the Evo instead of your Z. There will always be a faster car, we can go back and forth all day with one car after another if you want to start that. I believe the discussion at hand was Evo vs Z.

Meet Ryan Gates 500+ hp stock block

There are no Z's in modified posting times anywhere in the ballpark of him.

So you're downplaying an Evo because it costs more to build. How much does it costs to get a Z up to 500+ whp?
As ive stated, im not getting into a pissing match. And we'll see how long his aluminum block will last, not long im sure. Also, pass some advice onto that guy for me, stop blowing all that money on the block and either spend some cash on a better suspension setup or driving school lessons to keep those tires planted better.

And to be honest Ryan, shouldnt you be trying to sell your parts/services rather than campaigning for a car this board does not represent instead of getting into a pissing match with a lowly non premium member like myself ? Just my .02

He happens to be one of the best drivers in the time attack series right now. JRZ 3 way adjustable coilovers. Beating the competition by a significant margin, but you're right, he needs driving lessons

I think I/we do a great job selling parts/services and representing this community. I also am outspoken when i think someone has unrealistic goals or is presenting wrong information. I'm not campaigning for a case, just stating the facts as I see them and pointing out misinformation as I see it. I treat everyone the same whether they are a professional racer, vendor/sponsor, premium member, or a base member. None of us are better than anyone else. That's my 2 cents.

He'll rape you 0-60 (if he can drive).

1/4 is a driver's race.

Stop with the ******* bench racing already and go to the ******* track.

And you sir, are an idiot, congratulations. And please do some research before you spew forth that vomit you state as fact. No one will rape anyone if both are stock. The 0-60 times are the same. And 350bhp as opposed to the EVO's 291 suggest the Z's top end will win the 1/4 mile hands down. But im just stating the facts, chime in with the BS whenever you like.

EVO X
0-60: 4.9
1/4 mile: 13.6

370Z Base Sport
0-60: 4.7
1/4 mile: 13.2/.3

numbers dont lie hoss.

Seriously... you guys need to chill ... no point getting your panties in a bunch about this ****... seriously Red370... Im pretty sure gates would eat you up as far as driving skill is concerned... He has been setting records on the track and you have been setting post counts here... It is fact that 90% of evos are modded... it is also a fact that even if 100% of Zs are modded you will still loose. If you run into an evo on the street - chances are its moded... no where does the op mention stock vs stock.. how do you know his friends evo is stock? Stop assuming...

Wow, really? 0-60 times according to who... mags? LMAO@mag racers... you all fail the same.

Suggests? Come the **** on... leave the bench racing at home.

I said driver's race since from what I've seen from people actually running at the track that the times/traps are similar. I never once said the X will rape the Z in the 1/4... try re-reading what I posted. I know damn well top-end the 370Z will walk all over a X... I've seen it happen.

Calling ME an idiot... LMAO.
