Direct him to the new issue of DSport, the base Z put down better times than both the EVO and STI. Also while your at it, tell him to take his matchbox rally car back and get something that men drive, not a zit faced teenager drivin, turbo'ed family car.
You're misreading the opening post. This is not a stock vs stock comparison. This is a modded vs modded comparison. Way to stereotype the Evo drivers. Call it what you want, but the average "matchbox rally family car" will outrun and outcorner you. They are capable of much more than you would assume they are. I think you would also find that Evo drivers are just like the Z drivers. Same age range, maturity, and love for cars. I hate to see anyone stereotyping an entire community like that.

if you noticed, he said ABSOLUTELY nothing about light or heavy mods, stock for stock, its a drivers race. And my stereotypical views are my own, thats why we have these things called "opinions". The EVO/STI styling is nothing close to being refined, ugly as all shyte IMHO, they are designed for race use and thats it. I'll put my next paycheck on the fact that my Z will turn far more heads than an EVO 10/10 times, which is why I bought it. Suuuuure an EVO can be a track beast, but whats funnier is that Steph Papadakis in his junkyard EP3 Civic routinely eats your turbo box for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As I recall, just for shytes, he bought one for 500, turbo'ed it, built his own suspension and posted full second better times at Buttonwillow than 60K plus built EVO's. Lets not get into a pissing match here, I state facts, not BS.

Thumbs up

oh did I mention that this was done for a total of 5K? And you as well as I know that mods for that car arent cheap. The 4B11 can only withstand 400-450 whp before they blow, now when we start talking about forged internals... how much we talkin now? BTW 8-9 sec EVO's will cost more to build than most Z owners make in a year.

Go back and read where I posted that I may have misread the opening post and to disregard if it was stock vs stock. It should be pretty easy to spot, I put it in bold lettering just for this reason.

How much is your paycheck? I look forward to claiming it if you really want to put your theory to the test that your Z will turn more heads 10/10. I like how you pull another car to compare to the Evo instead of your Z. There will always be a faster car, we can go back and forth all day with one car after another if you want to start that. I believe the discussion at hand was Evo vs Z.

Meet Ryan Gates 500+ hp stock block

There are no Z's in modified posting times anywhere in the ballpark of him.

So you're downplaying an Evo because it costs more to build. How much does it costs to get a Z up to 500+ whp?

As ive stated, im not getting into a pissing match. And we'll see how long his aluminum block will last, not long im sure. Also, pass some advice onto that guy for me, stop blowing all that money on the block and either spend some cash on a better suspension setup or driving school lessons to keep those tires planted better.

You bought a car for other people is what you're saying? LOL.

Drive next to me and I gaurantee I'll turn more heads (although I do snap my neck any time I see a 370Z).

I wonder what he does to the Z's out there... LOL. Nice try.
