Hell ya similar situation although the dude just cut me off the after I asked wtf he's was doing he proceeds to do the whole pull over Muthfukr and all that which I did I was given no chance the dude kept throwing his car at mine and wouldent back off I really tried to avoid contact. He stopped quick and got outta his car with a beer bottle <--- go figure lol . Anyway once I saw the bottle either going at the z or my head couldn't really tell I pulled the SIG out and that stopped really quickly never thought if ever have to pull out my gun on someone. But I knew I wasent in the wrong and was scared for my life ( dude was massive tattooed Hispanic man). Anyway I calmly told him I felt threatened and I was going to shoot and he quickly scrambled back to his car wether to get a gun or run idk but I took off outta there like a bat outta hell . And he chased me for a bit but c'mon he was in mustang he dident stand a chance anyway I LOVE TEXAS and hate ridiculous drunks

Oh yeah and allways carry. Better to have it and not need it that need it and not have it!

Good for you. I'd pull a gun if I felt that a) my life and well-being was at risk or b) my property was at risk.

OP:

I can not understand why people could think you were just swerving to be a rude idiot, while they all saw the car run the light.

I would not stop to engage this yahoo, after your first chat.

What bothers me most is that this fellow will go to raise a child to behave like him. If you had engaged him I'd like to think the police arrive, you explain the situation and Child Protective Services determines he is an unfit father. At least the kid might get a chance in this world.

i see this often. even in my community. guy failed life 60's. his son is also failing...30's. the guy's grand son will fail in the future 2yr old, looking at how his failing son is raising him.

so we nicknamed the grandson 'Will' jk

failure is like part of the gene. he/she can cover it up with good behavior, but deep inside, loser will always be a loser.

I carry a pistol as well, but.... Why most of you are always so reliant on guns??? Men today are so afraid to scrap. Most of you would pull out for someone putting up there dukes... Sounds real cowardly to me. Fighting builds character. You win some you lose some.

My piece will only come out with eminent danger present. If you can't tell what that is or when it's going to occur? Stay home....

Too many cowards these days.

I'm terrified of a fistfight these days. All it takes is for one of the participants to fall and hit their head and it goes from a fistfight to serious felony charges.

not in a stand your ground state.... But I lived in new York all my life where fighting is illegal. But I fought anyone who had the urge to try me... Cops come.? You stay quiet and walk away. No one talks? It's not worth I t to the cops. I'm older now so I don't come across that type often. But I'd scrap with any guy that wants to be a man about it. We both live to see the next day. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. But you can walk away as men and at least respect the guy for holding h is own. Win or lose.

Cowardly? I have a lot to lose if I have significant damage done to my eyes or a bad head injury. My career is over. I'd rather not risk that. If someone wants to do physical harm to myself, family, or a friend, yeah they will have a Glock pointed at their face. I'm not going to fight someone like it's freaking high school because you never know which sick b@stard you're going to encounter. Besides, caring a gun when going through Atlanta at night and alone on an almost daily basis makes me feel a lot better.

I'm not saying lets pull a gun every time something makes me nervous. I am saying I will pull a gun if I feel like my well-being is being threatened. A very unlikely scenario because I avoid any such confrontations like the plague but you never know.

defending your family and self preservation is a whole different world than pulling out in a traffic dispute cuz one is irate. Drive off... Your ORIGINAL example of pulling out was cowardly. What you're saying now is different.

Lololol when did I ever say I'd pull one out if I was irate? Frankly I don't stop and argue with people. If I'm cornered and someone walking up to my car fists up or bat in hand, different story. That's a threat. Never for a silly traffic dispute. Please.

Fighting someone on the side if the road is immature and dangerous. I don't need to expose myself to that. Like I said before, I avoid any confrontation. I don't swear, yell, or use hand gestures to further the situation. If you still feel the need to verbally threaten me and step out of your vehicle and approach me, that's not something to take lightly. If you still think that is cowardly, well then I guess you're just a whole lot tougher than I. What else can I say.
