Faint whine sound under throttle?

It's random but there are times when I'm accelerating and there's this faint whine sound coming from the motor. Closest thing I can associate it with is like a supercharger

I don't hear a whine at all. Check for a leak in the intake?

ECU whine? It was a known issue with the 09's but you have a '10... I thought it was resolved with that year.

High pitch whine

I get it too and I have an 11. I Don't mind the sound one bit though or any other sounds the car makes makes it feel like more of a raw car.

I have the same sound only when casually accelerating in the lower rpms. Mostly just when cruising and driving normall. When I let off the accelerator it goes away. Its kinda like a ring and pinion whine..

I notice it here and there. Usually only if i turn the volume way down. At normal listening levels it's unnoticable for me.

Alternator maybe. I know some GM alternators sound like little superchargers under there. Maybe your ears are very sensitive to that frequency and that is what you are hearing.

I've heard it too. Its not like the ecu whine that has been described in the past. Its not electronic. It sounds more like forced induction. It sounds pretty kool to me.

It's probably the supercharger.

Possible only really hear it when I'm crawling around in a parking lot or accelerating super slow.

The slight whine from the engine area is coming from the throttle bodies. To confirm, put the car in neutral and see if the whining stops.

That's exactly how I was. I changed to redline and it helped a bunch. Still there due to the aggressive backlash settings Nissan sets.

It's normal, it comes from the differential ring and pinion
