Okay, fine, the gas tank design has a flaw. Everyone is well aware of it. Why do you all continue to push it when you know its going to cause you grief? You're supposed to learn from your mistakes and correct your actions in life to avoid having the issue again. This is basic life advice people...

I guess its more fun to sit on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck? I don't get it.

once you see --- you got about a gallon and a half left.....

my starvation issue happened with 3 dots and a nice long fast right hander off memorial here in houston. as the image shows the green line means im on the gas, yellow is where i start to sputter and luckily coast to my final spot indicated in red. i tried to start it for 3 minutes but the 100 degree heat had me and my dog hailing a cab to the gas station.

If you dont speak of problems how can anyone learn from them or fix them? I have also never had to call a tow truck mine has always re-primed. Not to mention a 35-40k sports car should not get stuck on the side of the road because we turned to fast.

I have had multiple different fuel starve scenarios as well so sharing the information and tank level at the time can help others. The most common assumption is it only happens on long sweeping turns. I can prove that wrong if anyone wants to go for a ride. :driving:

I enjoy reading the stories they are all different and give me more knowledge. I dont have to baby my car around every right hand turn because I know about a fuel starve problem, I just need to know what level my fuel tank should be at. Unfortunatly it cant always be full.

For you guys WHO never had the fuel starve problem, can only guess about it. It's real and it sucks when it happens. :shakes head:

fair enough, but all I saw in the past 6 pages was the beating of well deceased horse. I'm not seeing many solutions being proposed, so I proposed one.
