Life span of a VQ37?

Yeah the tires look almost brand new Kumho ecsta le sports. Ill try the clutch check in 5th gear and report back. Im going to get some K&N filters now at the ole advance store. I know that its not ideal to chirp tires and really im more or less concerned about the lack of power i feel after a shift couldnt care less if the tires make noise. It just seems like if Im trying to make them slip i should be able to ya know? Also i know the nismos have a good bit more grip due to suspension upgrades and all too so maybe im just worrying about nothing. But damn that eclipse!...Ill let u know how the air filters and ecu reset works out.

That might be part of your prob right there. Those tires aren't that great, especially compared to the Yokohama and Bridgestones that come stock with the Z

Out of curiosity what rpm are you shifting at?
