...and then of course there's the fact that most Nismo owners will rarely, if ever go on a real race track. Maybe you're right though. It's not a real Nismo unless some Asian dude in Japan says so...but so what?

/\ hey I take issue with the bolded part. Not gonna argue about the other stuff tho.

what if i want to sell it after 4-5 years ? It wont be easy to find someone that has same style as me to buy my custom Z. Having a car like Nismo or Amuse . I could easily find more buyers , because its Amuse/nismo.

sorry for my english i hope you understand me :P

If you have a "knock off" Nismo, imo, it's not going to add any resale value to your car at all and will attract a smaller pool of potential buyers.

Having said that, if you want to make your non nismo into a nismo clone because that's what makes you happy, go for it.

As far as adding the Amuse kit, it's a nice piece, not my taste but if you like it then go for it. Def going to be more rare than the nismo bodykit. As far as resale goes for that one, same thing, it's either love or hate so you will actually be reducing your potential pool of buyers.

Was at a dealership getting some work done on my Nismo and spotted a silver one in the parking lot. I asked the service rep about it and he called it a 'fismo.' He said the gentleman paid a total of about 12k to make a base 370z look like a Nismo because his wife couldn't drive a stick ,-,

I wonder if SE-R Sentra owners argue about silly things like this.

Haha yeah they do. I had an 03 spec v and people would swap front fascia , etc onto their non se- r. But if u looked at interior u could tell right away.

I totally agree! I always told people it's the best to return your car back to stock when you sell your car and part out all the aftermarket parts here on the forum. This way, you will attract a larger pool of buyers at higher value and get part/most of your money back on aftermarket parts.

I don't like the Amuse at all, but if it's your thing then go for it. Just get it done right. Nothing ruins a car faster than an ill-fitting body kit. Cheap body work will always bite you in the ***.
