Does anybody with the nav use the seeped wiper option?

There is a setting which will speed up the wipers the faster you go and slow them down as you slow down. The default setting when the car is purchased is to have this option shut off.

The TPS sensors that the 06 350 had and the digital speedo that the 350 had.....oh wait. ;)

AAaaargghhh ,,, I was hoping I would be the only one to point that out.. LOL!!! :icon18: :tiphat:

Just bought a 2013 Altima and the little light only comes with the Convenience package, which I do not have... so, in order to make it like the Z in that respect, I'm gonna purchase a bezel with the light in it and hook it up!

One of my favorite minor features that hasn't been covered yet is the fang insert on the 09-12. Gives you a great place and mounting points for a front brake cooling kit like the one that Stillen makes. It was almost like Nissan designed it for just that purpose.

The fact that you can turn on the fan without turning on the AC. Nice feature in my book. I have a G37 and it does not do this. AC is triggered all the time on my G.

Turn your recycle off? Or NOT on the defrost setting?

Tried it and failed Andrew.

Why don't you just disable the horn function for when locking your Z?

So you don't have the Z logo and you don't have the tach-light.

:bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:

I have an '09 with a "Nissan" key fob but I have the tach light.

Edit: perhaps it only works with manual transmissions? Can an auto owner tune in? Go redline your Z with your paddle shifters

37ZERO 07-06-2013 04:54 AM

I love the startup sequence on the start button... "Lock... ACC... On..." makes me feel like a fighter pilot haha

/Angelo350Z/ 07-06-2013 05:06 AM

As with the 350Z, I love how you can roll down the windows by holding the unlock button on the key fob. Too bad you can't roll them up the same way.

GaleForce 07-06-2013 07:16 AM

This is a great question. I was thinking about this for a couple of days. My favourite minor feature is...

The "fangs" in the front bumper.

b15 07-06-2013 07:23 AM

I like the gauge sweep at start up and how they just glow and all drop to the 6 o'clock position when you turn off the car. Also like the Z side markers and of course the intelli key. I haven't owned a car with a key in 6 years and can't go back!

My 05 Titan still has the key with the FOB that you have to press to unlock the doors. If it weren't all paid up and in just perfect shape mechanically and aesthetically, and the fact that I am still paying for my Z and a new Altima now, I might consider swapping it out for a new Titan with the Intelli-Key... I actually have to make a conscious effort to think about what I'm supposed to do to start up my Titan now... I am so spoiled...LOL! :bowrofl: :owned:

Nismo89 07-06-2013 10:37 AM

the windows lowering slightly when opening the door then raising back to its original position once door is closed.

that's a good feature, but i see threads of G35/350Z folks needing to replace the driver side motors after 5-6yrs of dd'ing. :) wish there is a way the vent can open/close to outside air on its own instead.

Yeah love this too, since you have to have the windows down when you are going to retract the roof. So you can prepare for a nice ride while you walking to the car
I would like to have a retract roof button on the fob!

Besides some of the things mentioned ( window roll down holding unlock which my G35does and my 99 maxima ) I like the fact that i can let the radio play for a long while and the radio will shut off by itself after a certain amount of time ,.unlike my G35 which i have had to bring out the charger more than a few times cause its almost dead and wont start . both have a sub with amp . The z at least has some kind of battery saver feature .

yes!! dude! I thought my Z died one day..let me explain.

I came home from a night out and I was pretty drunk. I was going inside through the garage, and I, for whatever reason, decided to go in the drivers seat of the Z and just sleep. My Cabin lights are set to off, unless I manually turn them on. I decided to turn one light on. Hours passed and I wake up and I was 100% certain that my light was left on but was off when I woke up. I started to freak out thinking I killed the battery. I turned the car to Acc mode and everything seemed fine; the light turned back on since I initially had it off. So, I then thought and or figured that it had some sort of safety future for leaving your cabin lights, radio, etc on.

And may I add..I slept really well in the drivers seat. haha
then Again I am like 5'5 :P :ughdance:

lol, you think thats bad...since my accident and having to go back to a little beater civic, i got so used to not having to have a key to lock/unlock doors on the car that i've forgotten the keys in my civic twice and locked myself out.

Are you sure it is wise to be bragging about how drunk you were on a public forum when your age states you as 20? Californians... As many others have stated, the windows roll down feature is great. Perfect for airing the car out on hot days.

I'm hoping this blows your mind as well. If you use the actual manual key on the door and hold it in the lock position, the windows will roll up on their own. :)

My favorite minor feature? The rear strut brace (is that what it's called?) that doesn't occupy the entire hatch like the 350Z.

ka24king 07-06-2013 03:04 PM

Looking at my white map lights light up my red seats when I'm walking toward the car and unlock it :)

Drex 07-06-2013 04:39 PM

the two body lines that start on the hood and continue on the roof.

The auto up/down on both windows. Never had that before.

mhill0425 07-06-2013 08:17 PM

Push Button Start
Key fob windows down
Illuminated Kick Plates

It really is the small things that make it extra special. My favorite thing overall is when I walk up to it in a parking lot knowing it's mine

Elan 07-06-2013 08:50 PM

I'm sure it was mentioned, but never having to take my keys out of my pocket!

Lunar-Eclipse 07-06-2013 10:34 PM

I never noticed I missed these things until I borrowed another car for a few days:

The auto up/down windows. <-- I love those things.
Heated side mirrors. <-- Drives away the morning dew in under a minute.

Whoa, wait a minute, is there a switch for that or do the mirrors heat up automagically? I had no idea we had heated mirrors!

You have a 2009... Like me... We don't have them... ;-(

Lunar-Eclipse 07-07-2013 12:15 AM

Yeah like DEpoint said I think they started including it in the 2010+ model years. I don't know if that's across all trim levels. I just press rear defrost and it turns on the sides and rear. The easy way to tell is to look for a little emblem printed in the corner of your mirrors. It's a rectangle with wavy heat lines in it.

roy'sz 07-07-2013 08:37 AM

I like the night time cabin light that's orange. No other car that I have had has a night time running cabin light.

nmjaxx9 07-07-2013 11:19 AM

I like the automatic feature. :icon17:

tiger123 07-07-2013 12:17 PM

Pretty much everything has been covered.

I really like the three eyeballs staring at me. Oil Temp/Batter/Clock. Love the angle these are set at.

BTW, every little/big thing is awesome about this car.:twocents:

Leadfoot 07-07-2013 01:21 PM

The headlights on this car lights up the darkest streets. and i love the highbeams for flashing some cabbie trying to cut me off in my lane for a fare.:driving:
