that has nothing to do with the motor itself. yes nissan fk'd up on not adding a oil cooler, but not everyone has that problem, therefore VQ37VHR > VQ35HR

Actually it has everything to do with the motor. It's getting hotter vs previous versions. It shouldn't be getting that hot in the first place to need a oil cooler.

Everyone does have the problem. They just don't all drive the same.

I drove around 70 on the interstate for 600 miles non stop, well one bathroom break, and the hottest it got was 220. Normal driving I think it will be fine but if I took it to the track I would definitely install one.

Hope the oil cooler becomes one of the new NISMO parts that come out this year, whenever that is....

All model Z owners I see nod at me and I nod in return. They are all Zs after all...

man, u should read the 370 hate thread on the other site. an 07 nismo owner kept insisting his 350 is lighter than the 370

i did a quick search and posted the true weight of his car, which he infact posted himself about 2 yrs ago. turns out the base 370 is over 200 lbs lighter than the 350z nismo and our touring is about 150 lbs lighter. dang guy made 4 posts trying to defend his nismo and a mod shut it down

i think all the haters there were 07-08 owners, but a few of them tried to calm the rest down.

Actually you might want to read this thread.

Is the 370Z a very light car?

The 370z and 350z weight the same pretty much.

370z base w/sport weights 3323, 350z NISMO w/full tank weighs 3352 which is the 2nd heaviest 350z made. Compare a Base vs Base you might be surprised that the 370z actually doesn't weight lighter than a 350z.

i think u should go read his own post were he quoted 3385 lb with less than 1/4 tank of gas. i'm just stating facts here and if u don't like it then

He did no such thing. 3325 with over 3/4 of a tank left. Maybe you should go back and read it again.

PS, it does help if you actually read that was a G35 Sedan he ran back in 2004 where you are trying to tell him he is wrong when you can't even read the posts. LOL

His NISMO 350Z weight is in a different post.

Ditto. But most other Z owner give an initial jaw drop or a passenger finger point usually accompanied by a mouthed "Holy $hit - its the new 370Z!"

Seriously I have had zero 350Z hate on the roads. A few Z31's wondering why/who I'm waving at

The only grief is from the guy who just bought the 350Z and found out about the 370Z a little too late and now he's trying to justify why he bought the 350Z. Because its a great car dude.....

When I drive a bus I wave at other bus drivers and they wave at me. Its quite the community you know. Haha if only they knew it wasn't even my bus or that I don't even drive a bus for a living. I just hope there never comes a day I'm pulled up at a light and the bus driver beside me finds out my 24 passenger with the short wheel base is stock.

Regardless I get free waves out of the deal all the time - suckers!

Settle down Sweetlips, the bmw I have is my pimp mobile..I just dont have the need to wave to everyone so they can wave back at me and fill that sense of insecurity that the wavers need...nothing to do with comaradery..
