And as Unknown iterated, NY is harsh on vehicles of any kind. I'm not doubting the cost of living in Chicago. I'm just saying...unless you're special, you're paying a lot for insurance at a younger age here.

As a side note, I was born and raised in NYC. I will always both love it and hate it with a passion

I'm the same with Chicago. Right now is the love stage since it's warming up.
