HELP- my spoiler has been replaced 4 times

I dont know about you but i ordered and installed the spoiler myself.. The first thing i noticed is the tape doesnt go all around the spoiler, it is actually

The first thing i noticed is the tape doesnt go all around the spoiler, it is actually 4 tapes (2 long and 2 short on the sides) so there will be a small gap between the tapes. I thought about using a clear silicone to seal off the opening but i havent gotten the chance to do it yet
