Molybdenum is only paramagnetic, it would take a lot more than a drain plug to capture the "nanoparticles" in a magnetic field. In fact, even if they did get stuck

Molybdenum is only paramagnetic, it would take a lot more than a drain plug to capture the "nanoparticles" in a magnetic field. In fact, even if they did get stuck to it for a time, the flow of oil past it during cornering and the like would likely have enough force to dislodge it.
