Be that as it may, it certainly wasn't designed as a roadster first. The hardtop was clearly the design priority. My original comment wasn't focussed primarily on the engineering endeavors behind the roadster. Even if they did engineer it from the ground up the lines of the design are still compromised.

I had a Miata for 20 years (just gave it to my aunt) . I'm TIRED of maintaining a convertible top. I'm tired of sunburn. I'm deaf from wind noise, and I don't want ppl watching me pick my nose. In short, I guess I'm getting old and just want to drive my rocket in peace.

So many threads on regret lol.
Ive thought about this a couple of times. Especially because i was in the market for an S2K. But im not really fond of the look, IMO the Z looks best as a coupe.

Would've be been pretty sweet if we had a targa top. That would've been my choice lol

All of these regrets are annoying. It's only money, buy what you want, it's not the end of the world.

I regret never really regretting my decisions. I feel like I'm missing out on a good cry or somethin'.

I'm happy with my decision to get one. Made for a nice replacement for my white S2k...because it actually has this thing called torque.

Only thing I don't like is the outkast feeling I get from the 350/370Z Coupe owners. Almost like I have a completely different car.

Nice looking ride Highway

but for me,why would I want to deal with ripped/ rotting tops, a slower car (more wind drag on a convertible), less secure & less rigid handling vehicle???.

Nope, I'm happy with the coupe. I do understand that a lot of people like convertibles, just not me when it comes to owning them
