Anyone else regret the color of their Z
 

When i first saw the Z it was at the dealer. Its pearl white, and it was love at first sight :) since it was the only one they had, i bought it lol

But man, every time i see a black Z modded....... I cant help but want to repaint my car black :( might be to pricey though. Oh well.

my top choice was white... but I'm glad I got black. I love it.

You'd regret choosing black. Pathetic to maintain.

But they do look good when they're detailed. Usually for about 5 minutes.

true, ive heard that quite a bit. Maybe because the one i saw was in an indoor parking lot. the paint looked so beautiful. i guess thats the best part of PW.. we have no swirl marks ;) unless you really try to look for them haha

I'm really pissed i got pearl white, not only is the paint a joke for pearl white the pearl is barely pearl. Premium pearl white Honda prelude now that's pearl white

I love my black Z. I got to wash it pretty much evey weekend, but its worth it. :yum:

Yep, black is ridiculously sick clean. A headache to keep clean but i get him detailed once a week, and he usually stays clean for a week. So not bad at all, lowered and shiny is just drool city! No regrets!

I regret my black ridiculously. I am seriously half in tears everytime a white Z passes me. It just looks so freakin beautiful, every curve is visible, instead of a black blob. Particularly how well black wheels and black roof and black wing can look on a white car... God.

I would trade my black for a white anyday. :wtf2:


EDIT: to add to the misery, there is a white Z in my neighborhood modded EXACTLY the way i would have gone about modding a white car.

everytime i see a pearl white z i think about wrapping my car lol. platinum graphite is cool and all, but pearl white i think is the best color for the z!

On American Honda making a genuine pearl on the H22. Most definitely.

No regrets on the color. I still open my garage just to look at it. Then close it and walk away. My only regret? Not having anywhere to drive to!

I have no regrets in picking my color.

If I can do it again, it would be blue instead of red.

I originally wanted silver, but the only one available new in my price range (base) was gun metallic. No regrets at all.

haha, well it isnt too bad as far as the pearl goes, but i do agree that the paint sucks. my bumper looks like chocolate chip ice-cream. dam you nissan :shakes head:

very true, you really can see every detail, and in the sun, the semi flat look of the pearl really offsets the parts shaded from direct sun giving it a cool mixture of gloss and some-what flat, look. but thats also what i love about black. everything flows so smoothly.. you cant really see much but the reflection of certain areas.

Went from a Black 350z to the pearl white 370z. I do miss the aggressive nature of a black car, but the white car is much more classy and doesn't take as much work to maintain.

i have no regrets. I love the magma red color

No regrets picking my color but I did slightly rage when they released the dark blue for 2013.

Premium Pearl White, after 10 years i didnt have one rock chip,crack, yellowing.. You could still see the pearls in the paint. The only pearl white that compares is Cadillac Escalade Pearl or possibly lexus Pearl.

I have red and it's a pain to keep clean. Would go with pw/gm/blue if I could do it over.

It's nice to stand out tho. The solid red really needs a bit of sparkle.

love the blue...wouldnt' get any other color...and i hate black, i had a black car before and it was only clean for a day after i washed it...i will never get a black car again. they do look sleek clean but only because youre not the one washing it all the time..once you buy a black car you regret it the next day.

...dude monty blue is the best blue i've never seen on a car, dark blue is not nearly as nice

I got brilliant silver and at first I wasn't sure I made the right choice. But it really is my favorite color Z. What I didn't know when I bought it was that silver stays clean FOREVER lol I can literally wash it once a month if I need to and it'll still look clean. I usually wash it every 2 weeks but the winter makes that difficult sometimes.

Also, I had a yellow 350z before getting the 370z and the silver Z blends in with other traffic MUCH better. You don't have to worry about a cop easily seeing you in a crowd but it still turns heads when it's alone on the road. The best I've seen the brilliant silver look is in a store parking lot at night under the overhead lights. It really is impressive the most at night for sure. If I had a 2nd choice I'd probably cave and get yellow again but after having a yellow mustang for 12 years and then a yellow 350z for 2 years I was a bit burned out on yellow.

Love my gm. Pw is my least favorite color. It seems to be the most popular around here though. Any specific reason why people love pw so much?

When I was searching for a Z, Red was the last color I had in mind. During email communication with a dealer, I found a Red one for a great price. I thought, what the heck, the deal is good, let's just go check it out and go for a test drive. As soon as I saw the car on the lot, I was like "WOW!" As of now, I do not regret it at all. I am glad I decided to check it out in person before ditching it.

I love this color even more right after a good car wash. :)

Just ran into a Z on the street . Older guy pretty chill he rolls down his window and I tell him I liked the color of his Z. And he said any color looks good on this car lol.
Anyways I wanted gun metal ...but wasn't dark enough for me . Then I really wanted pearl white but I always had doubts .
Ended up with magnetic black . While it is hard to keep clean, I've learned to enjoy washing and waxing it weekly. It's always looking good :D
I don't regret getting black . It's so sexy especially in gloomy weather .

I had a choice between black, dark blue, and pearl white. I thought the pearl white showed the lines of the Z better than the dark colors. No regrets.
