Black here, it's a love hate relationship for me.

Amuse370z 03-18-2013 10:05 PM

PW, no regrets, can't wait till I put on the Amuse kit with the visible carbon fiber accents + black out the roof.

Haboob 03-18-2013 10:06 PM

I love my Midnight Blue, but it's not easy to keep clean either.

If I had to choose another color it'd be Magma Red, but I didn't want another "red" car. In the right light, this blue looks beautiful.

I like them both.

Probably would have gotten a '12 Monterrey Blue if I could have found one (new), but I did kind of fall for the '13 rims.

Wonder what they'd look like with the Monterrey Blue...

I agree with that, it makes it so easy and looks great. But I definitely love the rae blue, first time I saw a 370 it was a blue one and its been a dream come true to be able to get my own!

gofast 03-18-2013 10:22 PM

:icon18:Mine is PW, it is really a nice color on the Z, but every time I see a modded red Z I cry. Oh well..........

axmea? 03-18-2013 11:27 PM

Not me. I don't understand you guys who buy the thing and later regret it. Make the right decision the first time. Not referring to those who simply admire other colors that's different from those with buyer's remorse.

mayday813 03-18-2013 11:52 PM

I've gotten numerous comments on my 2011 Monterey Blue

Its difficult to explain, i mean i love my PW but i also love the way a black Z looks. If it makes any sense, i guess i wish i had both? Lol. I love them both, they each have something to admire. I guess the fact that i already experienced one color, makes me want to experience the other?.. Man, this is difficult to explain but yeah. Lol

Ok so let me see if I get this right. It's like having a really hot gf and you just want to have more. Ok, now I get it.

chrischhorn 03-19-2013 01:01 AM

I live in Hawaii and I would never want a different color. The first time I saw PW, I was set. Do you realize how beautiful the pearl looks in a Hawaiian sunset? Its a done deal and I would never swap for it lol. BTW I purchased my car when I lived in Texas. The Hawaii sunset just made me appreciate it that much more!

asdfsammich 03-19-2013 01:03 AM

I've always gone black, gun metal or white. Went with solid red for the 370 cuz it just pops big time.

Also really love the new magma color.

Red is almost as hard to keep clean as black though PITA!

No regrets. That said, I'm looking at a matte white wrap to change things up for a while lols.

How much does a wrap cost? Like 2k right? Give or take

asdfsammich 03-19-2013 01:36 AM

Yep. About 2k, from reasonable/reputable shops I've called around.

Thank you! Lol I love my PW and would NEVER trade it for another color. Once I saw my Z in the light I had to have it

A-Train 03-19-2013 04:52 AM

I like my Solid Red (A24). However, I'm not a huge fan of the easily chipped paint and swirl marks. After a clay-barring session and a coat of Mother's Brazillian Carnuaba Wax, though, the Zee looks mightly sexy!

Dude, an AMC Pacer looks good against the Hawaii sunset!!!!

MadMan 03-19-2013 07:59 AM

Gun Metal & loving it.
Too many Black Z's already in town.
& half the Z's on the lot were White.
I could have lived with a Red.

DIGItonium 03-19-2013 07:59 AM

I wish mine was a darker graphite color, which wasn't available for several years as Nissan slowly darkened the PG color in the later models haha.

wheee! 03-19-2013 08:14 AM

4 Pages and no Black Cherry love? I love mine!

yeah my dad had a red Dodge ram and i remember how quickly the swirl marks would appear. the color really pops though! :)

UNKNOWN_370 03-19-2013 11:37 AM

I dont think the z color palette is the greatest in the world. The colors i thought that were decent were Chicane yellow. Lasted one year. Gun metallic, black & monterey blue. While i think the refresh sucks. I think 2013 was blessed with two great colors. midnight Blue and magna red.

I have gun metallic and think it looks the most high quality aside from the black and white colors. But white is my least favorite.

bflosabre91 03-19-2013 11:42 AM

I regret the black cherry. My next z hoping in the next few years I'll go with gun metallic, or whatever the variant is, or that midnight blue is looking sick.

I regret it because its a pain to maintain, like the black, so I'm almost never happy with how it looks because every little swirl shows so easily. IMO, the color looks amazing on cloudy days, but that sucks I don't really drive it in the rain so it just sits in the garage on those days haha.

b15 03-19-2013 11:42 AM

Started shopping by looking for a Pearl White or Midnight Blue. Never really wanted a black car due to the maintenance (and I'm a clean car freak). Oddly enough, I ended up buying a Magnetic Black Z. It's super sexy when clean and I since it's not my DD I went for it. No regrets so far, but I know the pain that lies ahead with trying to keep her clean...

I wish the 370z had the electric blue from the 350 years. I love that color.

Midnight blue will be just as hard to maintain as black.

It's a love/hate relationship for sure.. but it is a very unique colour and does look fantastic when in the right light and all shined up!

Eagle 03-19-2013 12:36 PM

Love my solid red. No regrets, no doubts, no tickets...yet. All smiles here

faya 03-19-2013 12:40 PM

pearl white all the way..

wheee! 03-19-2013 12:46 PM

My second choice was definitely the Pearl White.... Now I'm crushing over the dark blue....

FairladyZ 03-19-2013 01:01 PM

I was between pearl white, and gun metallic.

Went with white and never looked back.

I love black when it is clean but with nissans shitty paint I couldn't do it. and even if you don't have shitty paint black is a bitch to maintain, constant waxing and cleaning is needed otherwise swirls show so bad

Are you saying our pearl white quality better than black? No way

Ziggyman 03-19-2013 01:38 PM

After the last 3 cars I owned were black roadster, black roadster, dark blue vert, I wanted a change, a lighter color and a roof.

I almost bought a PW in NY, had the dealer returned my email I probably would have. Love my SR in the sun, though there is no sneaking around in this color, at least with this car. I swear it makes other people drive faster!

I really wanted the Persimmon interior but only liked that with Black or Gunmetal.

That’s part of why I like this forum, all kinds of combos and mods to compare.

No but you don't see swirls is what I am saying.

I know, but the color pops more. I'm just glad the black has some metallic flakes in it vs just being a solid black.

Bking 03-19-2013 03:10 PM

Still loving my KAV color, especially on a sunny day.

axmea? 03-19-2013 03:15 PM

I love the color I chose but Nissan should bring the metallic blue, the yellow, and the copper from the 350Z. Would really enjoy seeing them on a Z34.
