Tracking is not so much about pushing the car to the limit as it is about smooth control through the entire movement of curves, straights. Accel and decel along with braking. It should be a ballet not a crump session. MHO drag racing is cool too but I don't think one setup will work for track and drag. My brother drags his 350 and its pretty much set up for drag. It's also two completely different driving styles and techniques.
