CTS-V and Camaro both best the Z on a road course.

Ru comparing current CTS-V or first gen CTS-V? stock for stock both the CTS and the Camaro come more power, but also more weight. The suspension geometry on the 370 is MUCH better then the camaro any day, the CTS has good suspension geo, but big weight penatly and the 1st gen CTS V's cant fit big rubber under stock body and have crap bolt pattern

I provide you the info in links ans STILL....

Dude the Z doesn't belong on a track against a 1LE or a mustang track pack...

A challenger R/T?? Yeah the Z got it. But you guys are Z dilusional. Seriously. And if you gonna track your Z. PM me for a mod list. Cuz you may azz out on the track bruh.

I already track my Z, and run pretty damn fast already, and my mod list isnt even all that crazy. A experineced driver and a proper setup on the 370 can destroy alot on a road course thanks to the well enginneer chassis from the factory. Car fits big rubber to support its weight, has great camber curve dynamics front and rear, bump steer is minimal, rear anti sqaut is minimal, and the short wheel base makes it transition well

You guys talk like the Z is the ONLY connected car on the road. I call BS on that.

I love my Z and in history, I got into some serious Z defending fights. but just because I love the z's attributes... Does this mean I can't appreciate other cars attributes???

Besides if you haven't test driven the 1LE???? How do you know??? The SS and 1LE feel like different cars dude. Making comparisons on a car yo've never driven???

dude i wasnt even talking about the driving characteristics of the 1LE and i'll be the first to admit its a great performer and just may provide the same road feel as the Z or better, but i was speaking more to the actual size of the car so dont get your panties all up in a bunch about it...the Z for me is just the right size for my personal tastes while the camaro is just a tad to big for my liking thats all.

Mine isn't set up crazy but it needs to be done... That was my point. It's not like we're buying track ready cars..

I'm too long for panties but thanks... lol I'm just saying though dude. I prefer my car too but that 1LE puts it down and it's like people keep talkin' shyt just cuz I mention it as an example of a car seriously putting it down on the track bone stock (View lemon-fresh)... So you caught the brunt of it dude. My bad.

You can feel the torque a lot more in the automatic Z. So if you value responsiveness and a powerful feeling from the engine? The auto is a better bet.

m1a4 and unknown have a habbit of just destroying any thread they come into, shoving mustang and camaros down everyones throats

Eh. I just correct misinformation when I see it. Not shoving anything down anyone's throat.

no stock car is really track ready with a fast driver behind the wheel, some are better setup then some like a Boss 302 laguna seca compaired to a ....base model 370 LOL, but yeah ive done stuff to my 370 to get it whre i want.

my point is i feel he Z34 chassis gets over looked because "o it needs a oil cooler" when in fact is has incredible suspension geometry and houses wide rubber. It has a high level of potential with not alot put into it, similar to S2k( when it comes to road course pace)

How is this possible? My Eclipse has 260 torque and does 0-60 in the high 5s. How can a car with 270 torque be equal to 60 with a car that has 395??? ( the V)

While an elephant has 4 strong legs and the awesome power to crash down a tree, how can an ostrich beat an elephant in 0-60 time with its broomstick-like 2 legs? How is this possible?

CTSV are slow in turns anyways, esp 1st gen.

SV has caddi challange TT events and when they host at buttonwillow they host the track layout (ccw16) that has 3 HUGE straight aways compared to the normal track that has a bunch of turns.

Never said it wasn't great on a track, was just pointing out the main reason why most ppl still don't care. The same goes for mustang although i do find it slightly less offensive due to a better power vs displacement vs weight ratio. If they make these cars smaller and a little more pleasing to look at (less redneck pinstripes) I don't think there'd be nearly as much to discuss.

Please don't respond to this post with speculation article links about the future of these cars either.

This I can agree with. But there are cars you can track right out the box. Chevy and ford usually make them.

.

Don't have to respond with links. Your response is a weak over-opinionated response with nothing real behind it. I have nothing to say or link up cuz you have no facts behind it. No one cares yet camaros sell in 6 figures, we sell in four figures. I know what I've driven. I don't see why you think you're the surveyor of most people? But whatever. Some people just like to make forums a negative enviorment.
