370's belong on road courses, and in that case will outshine CTS V and Camaro

But as far as modding, CTS V will show more gains for engine mods. But that V is generation back so its gonna feel much different than a newer V , or
370. You will just have to drive and see. I'm not sure if it will be your only car but 370z as a daily driver or for carrying people/cargo has its limitations vs a coupe or 4dr car.

personally i dont care if the camaro 1LE is faster than the Z, theres just something about the camaros current dimensions that makes me feel disconnected from the car whereas in the Z you feel closer to the road somehow.

Rightfully so. It doesn't matter who is faster as long as you enjoy what you drive.

If you want to feel some real road conection, drive an openwheel car like a formular ford.

The ZL-1 and 1LE packages give that connection. But why in this place we gotta have extreme Z lovers and Extreme mustang jockers. Why can't we appreciate the strengths in different cars.

This thread is about the OP's fascination of an irrelevant 0-60 time between two completely different cars thinking torque is the only thing that matters. Remember horsepower is the amount of work done in a given amount of time, torque is just force applied. One is not without the other. I would love to drive the Camaro, I'm seriously disappointed in this manual z. The automatic z"s I drove felt faster than mine even with a fi exhaust. Nissan should stick to automatics
