Default I want the new Nismo steering wheel

While I look forward to NISMO becoming more involved with Nissan's future, the announcement didn't come with anything too exciting to see right at this minute.

BUT

I did really like the new wheel offered in the 2014 Nismo Z:

I wonder if we'll be able to order it for our cars as I love me some alcantara/faux suede!

meh. It'll look really bad really fast with your hands on it all the time. As it is I don't put my arm on the door suede.

You can always wear gloves to keep the suede/alcantara from looking fugly. Seems like it's more trouble than it's worth, IMO. Unless your car is a show car, I don't see a point in adding it to the steering wheel except for as a way to justify a price increase.

Well im pretty sure they had it on the car and knows how it'll wear, they are'nt the first to offer alcantara on a steering wheel, so it should be ok. If not 3 years or 30K miles lol

Yeah and if you want, you can add some color that will match your car exterior, then you can add some interior accents to mat ch the exterior.

I had a 2013 boss 302, the entire steering wheel was made out of this. No problems at. All and I loved it. And I have really oily hands. I an on ordering this wheel from courtesy nissan or something.
