Updated 2014 NISMO 370z
Nissan has introduced a slightly updated NISMO Z that will be available in European markets.
The changes are more aesthetic and seem to be inline with some of the small styling accents I first posted about with the Fairlad y Z NISMO Challenge version from the from the Tokyo Auto Salon. The car now features two tone color side skirt and bumper aero effects similar to the 350z version of the NISMO Z. The two tone theme is also carried over to the rear wing. Also red accents have been added to the front / rear grill areas and the mirrors. Inside an alcantara wrapped steering wheel has been added aswell. These changes were done to in an effort to make the car carry the theme of the recently introduced Juke NISMO in that market. NISMO is at the beginning stages of a global brand roll out that will include NISMO and NISMO RS versions of many of its cars. Rumor is the higher performance RS version of the Z will not launch until the Z35 debuts http://cdn3.worldcarfans.co/2013/1/2...1140911338.jpg http://cdn3.worldcarfans.co/2013/1/2...1719557470.jpg http://cdn3.worldcarfans.co/2013/1/2...1593317160.jpg http://cdn3.worldcarfans.co/2013/1/2...2116580519.jpg http://www.inautonews.com/wp-content...0z-nismo-2.jpg http://www.inautonews.com/wp-content...0z-nismo-3.jpg http://cdn3.worldcarfans.co/2013/1/2...3282735497.jpg |

It looks weird seen the Drivers side On the Other Side. Looks beast, Me Want!
|
Reminds me a lot of the K11 paint on the 350z Nismo. IMO, it looks better two-tone. Makes the car look a little more aggressive.
|
yeah the two tone with darker wheels is more aggressive. i loved it on my nismo 350 and currently on my GTR and was surprised to see the 370z version not have it.
I wonder if next years NISMO Z will see it as i guess there will be one more model year before the Z35. I will ask the Z marketing manager this week as im supposed to be talking to him anyway about some GTR stuff |
yes. woudl really like to know what power plant they are going with the z35 and will it be direct injected.
on topic tho, that steering wheel is def badass |
i heard there was a turbo 3.0 in the works but then the Q50 debuted with the carry over engine so who knows.
|
nice.

Other thing though. So far the only FI research I've found done by Nissan is a 2.4L SC engine and a 3.0TD... If we do adopt Mercedes 3.0T? Which is a stock 302hp. We definitely need more aggressive transmission options and need to run about 200/300lbs lighter. |
Omg it had a third brake light I might have to buy that bumper just for the light. I want.

I bet its color code KAE thats what nissan uses for a lot of their dark trim pieces including the GTR |
Wow I really like that paint scheme. I wish my 2013 rims were that dark...
|
Overpriced in Europe, overpriced in USA
|
aight guys, time to get that plastidip to work.
|
I love it! Anyone know the price of this in Europe? Just curious..

Honestly, I prefer a cleaner look.
|
As do I. It seems though that Nissan is paying attention to the layman tuner scene more and more because these changes seem to reflect those modifications often found in this forum.

Awesome! I really like the styling and the two tone is actually done right for a change.

Check out the two tone paint and spiffy steering wheel. They also get a rear fog lamp. |
Whats up with the rear pin stripe?
I want that steering wheel tho! |
Well we will just have to apply our own red tape or paint, to note where 12 O'clock position is on our steering wheels.

On topic: Nice looking package for the Nismo. If this were avail in a US model I would get it. |

Wait a minute... But aren't Z's like 15k cheaper here than in europe, when you do the conversion to what they currently pay? I thought they pay like $46k american for a base Z??? |
I like that a lot! ***especially the steering wheel! ***
|
|
Yeah I know I like it when there set up like F1 style when u brake.
QUOTE=UNKNOWN_370;2126619]Thats a rear foglight, not a brake light. But you can mod it as a brake light.[/QUOTE] |
Thoughts on updated Nismo?
Updated 370Z Nismo Unveiled
Looks pretty badass..along with a slight bump in hp/trq that's a bonus. Really loving the alcantara wrapped steering wheel though! :driving: Produces same downforce as the GT-R  what are your thoughts on the updated nismo? "Nissan claims the tuned coupe can go from 0-62 mph in 5.2 seconds, 0.1 second faster than before" ^ I wonder how much more would you have to pay to go 0.1 seconds faster lool |
dont mean to bump an old thread but ill take that steering wheel!!!
and im glad i have an 09-12. rear fog light looks so out of place |

I hate how Nissan does it right...folks in charge get rich then new guys comes in and gets it horrible wrong...then they go back and see what worked then try it then get rich again...
