I'm well aware that Nismo isn't exclusive to the Z. I just don't see anything sporty about the Juke. Just my opinion though. I'm sure its highly sporty to other people.

there are going to be RS versions of certain cars ( like the Z GTR and even juke that all will feature atleast a 10% increase in power) that are more preformanced oriented. but nismo is rolling out new a global branding campaign and part of that strategy is to include affordable sporty versions on that line up and that includes cars like the juke and the leaf. the goal of these cars is more about branding and aesthetics than like a hardcore track car. so think of it as a two tiered approach

Now I'm patiently awaiting the arrival of these RS models... Hell I've been checking the net everyday lately for the release or news concerning the 14 model year. Hopefully Nissan will give us something great with these RS models! For now I can just continue to love my current Z.

im going to venture to say you wont see an RS version until the launch of the Z35

the car debuting today should be looked at in the context of trying to put forward a theme of the new nismo branding not some revamped version of the Z. The current Z34 has pretty much been exhausted and its down to last years facelift and the appearence redo of the nismo to get it by another year or so..

The nismo juke is the first all new nismo car under this new campaign and the Nismo Z was just tweaked to support and fit in with that as they want all the nismo cars from here on out to share some design or visual queues

The extra power and slight performance gains of the Nismo are not made up for by it's ugly boy racer, add-on body kit cosmetics. And enough of the alcantara already. It's how Nissan cheaped out on an all leather interior. If I keep my 370 long enough that the interior shows wear I will have the seats redone in all leather and replace the door panel inserts with matching leather.

Alcantara is more expensive and more finer material than leather....

Actually, technically, Alcantara IS leather. Go look at $300,000 super cars, they are completely decked out in Alcantara, so I dont see how this is "cheaped out"

Also that isnt a riced out boy racer body kit cosmetics, thats a windtunnel...aerodynamically tuned designed to increase down force and reduce drag. Supposedly the Nismo's styling is nearly as superbly aerodynamic as the GTR is.

SO hopefully you get rid of your Z soon and jump in a civic where your knowledge and mentality are more suited.

I don't think it comes from animal hide.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcantara_(material)

Still would much rather have actual suede or leather in my car (but I'm old skool).

still with those damn bright *** silver doorhandles! ugh! not sure how i feel about this. i wanted 2 tone for the color scheme but the red accents look tacky/tacked on. this doesn't look well thought out. i'm glad they put a red "O" on the back nismo emblem tho. red center stripe on the steering wheel? Cayman R are we now, nissan?

I really dig the steering wheel (I actually kinda prefered my 09 base steering wheel to my '13 nismo's). Stick on rear foglight?, double tone body panels?,,, this does not look production ready. at least if they do it'd be really tough for bodyshops to repair and reproduce the quality finish... $$$ i did already tought the front, rear lip and spoiler would look great with vinyl.. this confirms it. I would prefer to dark out the lower part of the spoiler instead of the wing itself. but probably that would'nt be too original (evo x)
