What states are they illegal in? I know Virginia, but is the "undetectable" feature needed outside of the handful of states ONE state and D.C. that they're illegal in?

They aren't illegal in CA, Winnre, so you don't need that undetectable feature.

No, but in California it is technically illegal to affix them to your windshield (for obstructing vision).

But they won't cite you for it. Most likely the only ones getting any citation for it are the ones getting multiple violations and the officer just tacks it on.

I never had any issues with my detector, thankfully. And now I have mine hard wired and use the Blendmount. One day I'll make it back over the border to Democratic Peoples Republic of California.
