I use a Passport 9500i and it's worth it's weight in gold.
I agree with what others have said. You need to know how to interpret the info from the detector. If you just stick it in the window and expect to never get a ticket then it's not for you. Also, I have found that I actually drive slower now that I use one compared to when I didn't.

Depending on how the cams are set up, they can send you a ticket for coming to a dead stop past the white line. Or making a right on red without coming to a complete stop etc. The big one is stopping past the whit line so you can see to make a right turn. If they only write tickes for people who blow through red lights, they will probably go broke. |
