I had the dreaded steering wheel lock issue about 10 days ago. Key warning light, car wouldn't start, etc. I took my 2009 w/sport pkg. to Collins Nissan in Louisville

Key warning light, car wouldn't start, etc. I took my 2009 w/sport pkg. to Collins Nissan in Louisville and the lock was replaced for free; however, they never mentioned recall. Apparently the part runs about $1000. I was very grateful since I was about 5k miles beyond warranty.
